1920-Review

Today I and my three friends have decided to watch a movie since we have no option, we were opted for 1920, because no one of us has ever seen the ghost movie on screen except Bhool-bhoolaiya. So we were in the theater with just 20 or some people inside the Audi.

Movie starts with a murder and titles with a Shri Hanuman Chalisa, till then we have known that movie is based in 1920, there is rebel in the family over a love and our hero who is an architect leaves the home for his love as well as his dharma, and that was only because his love was illegitimate child. And both of them leaves for the Bombay and after taking the promotion both of them goes to the haunted haveli of King Rai bahadur Singh with the same old naukar in the mansion(who knows everything) there was some scene in which I have listened some fowl crying from the girls who were sitting just on the right side and seriously we were enjoying that yelling, and we was also yelling with so much dedication that some of the audience gone to their edge of the seat, and one of us gone to upper row in the terror of sound of yelling which was not from the background but that was created from our side. And that was shear excitement till the interval, and after that temperature at its lowest level so that all of us shivering on the seat so much, the story goes to the flashback which I was expecting and then movie reaches it climax and as usual always good guys win, movie end with the same Hanuman Chalisa.

The best part of the movie was the personality disorder of the Lisa, and its music. Adnan Sami really has done good work with the singers like Pt. Jasraj, Asha bhonsle, Kailash kher, the music part was 9/10 and really it was not boring. The location was really not any of Indian backdrop, they were looking of European style, but was eye pleasure to see them because most part of the movie was in the dark.

This movie is worth watch but only in theaters.

I give 7/10 to this movie.
